(re)stitch Tampa, an international design ideas competition drew exciting submittals from all over the world, representing over 22 different countries including the US and Canada.

All of the panels are now on exhibit at the new USF CAMLS building at 124 S. Franklin Street Tampa,Fl. 33602 at the intersection of Brorein and Franklin.

Come join us this Friday April 13, 2012 to celebrate the winners and honorable mentions of (re)stitch TAMPA and to listen to lectures from our world renowned jurors. We will begin at 3pm with lectures from our world renowned jurors.

    [re]stitch Tampa will host workshops engaging constituents, stakeholders, urban designers and community planners. We welcome the community to participate in this event. Presentations will be given from members of our local government, community groups, and design professionals to discuss the future of development and the environment in Tampa and to distill the results of (re)stitch TAMPA as an envisioning process informing the master-planning process of downtown TAMPA! A guided boat tour by Riverwalk manager Lee Hoffman will follow. Space limited on the boat.

Getting There

If you are arriving by car you can park at the Fort Brooke Parking Garage which is very close to the USF CAMLS building at 124 S. Franklin St. which is at the intersection of Franklin and Brorein. City parking is $1.25 an hour as is on the streets but you can only park for a few hours at a time on the street and ulimited in the Fr. Brooke Garage and then after 6pm it is free.
